Bad odors and gurgling sounds!! Blame it on your Plumbing Ventilation

So you've moved into your Vancouver dream house or after a few years living there you go into the bathroom and ugh....what is that smell? This helps regulate air pressure into the system to make things flow better. They are also responsible for venting sewer gases out of the system as well.

When a plumbing vent pipe or vent stack is blocked, negative pressure builds up in drainage pipes and water flow is interrupted. Though you may be able to clear a clogged drain yourself, stoppages will still happen if a blocked vent is the culprit. This can cause further heartache to your plumbing system and may result in expensive pipe repair or replacement costs down the road.  

 Obviously, vents are an important aspect of the plumbing system.
