Mike is the Founder, Owner, and Lead Master Inspector at Best Coast Inspections, and the technical backbone of the company. Before entering the inspection industry, he spent years as an educator with the Burnaby School District (SD41), a background that continues to shape how he approaches every inspection today.
That experience gives Mike a natural ability to explain complex building systems in plain language. He believes inspections should empower people with understanding – not overwhelm them with technical jargon or fear. Whether he’s reviewing structural integrity, long-term building performance, or safety concerns, his focus is always on clarity and context.
Mike is known for his calm, methodical, and detail-oriented inspection style. He takes time with clients, encourages questions, and delivers honest opinions without pressure or exaggeration. His reports are clear, thorough, and easy for both clients and realtors to understand.

Khristine Mejia is the General Manager of Best Coast Inspections, overseeing daily operations, client experience, and long-term business growth. She plays a central role in ensuring the company runs smoothly behind the scenes, connecting clients, inspectors, and systems into a seamless process.
With a background in business operations, digital marketing, and process optimization, Khristine brings structure and clarity to every stage of the inspection journey. She believes exceptional service begins well before the inspection and continues long after the report is delivered.
